[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: IFC>IDF problems
Here is how I created my IFC(2x) from ADT3.3 with GtsIfc2xUtility:
1a. Open 1zoneUncontrolled.dxf in ADT3.3
1b. change unit to decimal.
2a. add 1 space, COMMAND:space>Add
2b. modify space properties(adjust ceiling and floor thickness)
3. add 4 walls, COMMAND:wall>Add
4a. add 1 roof, COMMAND:roof>Add
4b. modify roof thickness.
5. add 1 floor, COMMAND:slab>Add
6. save dwg
7. export IFC using cascade menu GtsIfc2xUtility>Export IFC 2x...

the error message when run this IFC with IFCtoIDF is:
