AW: [EnergyPlus_Support] heating/cooling at same time
Ian,
...this might come from a different calculation and output time step.
For example, if you choose a calculation time step of 4 and an hourly
output, the output will represent the sum of quarterly calculated energy
consumption. So, there might be a heating demand in the first 15 minutes
and a cooling demand for the remaining hour: the hourly output then
shows heating and cooling energy for that time step.
I hope this helps.
Alexander

Betreff: [EnergyPlus_Support] heating/cooling at same time
Hey
I am modeling a basic one zone building. When I set the thermostat to
"Dual
Setpoint with Deadband", in some of the time steps, I get both heating
and
cooling in the controlled zone. I don't understand why this would
happen.
Thanks
Ian
