Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] performance curves of York units
True, the z values are normalized and dimensionless, but the x and y values for
many of the curves are temperatures, in degrees C in EnergyPlus, and typically
in degrees F in DOE-2. That is where the problem comes in. Because of the 2-
part conversion between C and F, this cannnot be corrected with a simple
multiplier on the coefficients, it becomes an algebraic mess. So, it is
easiest to just do the curve-fit using x and y values in deg. C. DOE-2 will
not care that the values are in deg. C as long as you are just running the
curve fit and not trying to do a simulation with the data.
