Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Question: Radiant Panel



You have two options, embed the heater in your wall surface(s) or add a new 
surface within the zone.  If you add it to your wall surface, you may want to 
break the wall into two surfaces to represent the portion with the radiant 
panel and the portion without.  In any low-temp radiant surface, you must place 
at least one layer of material over the internal source.  Peter A. cautions 
against using a metal layer in the construction.  I believe those problems have 
been fixed, however, you should check the behavior carefully.  If you run into 
problems, try a thin layer of gypsum or concrete instead.
