"Non-thermal mass walls" would be those described with all layers (or only
one layer) using "Material:R" materials -- i.e. described only by
resistance. All other walls will have inherent "thermal mass" (i.e.,
described with L,Cp,K,D characteristics).

"Internal Mass" walls should be described with the normal characteristics
(i.e., L,Cp,K,D) so that the mass of the item(s) do interact with the heat
balance solution. Internal mass could be used for internal partitions,
furniture, other items that may affect the thermal balance.

Virtually all of the sample files have exterior surfaces described with
thermal mass.
