[EnergyPlus_Support] about design day and run period

Dear:
 
I have a question about the "DesignDay" and "RunPeriod". I have uploaded a related file named "W only enve". I calculated the envelope cooling load with the Hong Kong weather file and found that the sensible load under design day is much smaller than that of the run period, also under the run period, the load variation pattern is more reasonable.What is the reason for these?
 
By the way, I asked a question about the envelope cooling load calculation with CTF and MTF some days ago, does anyone can help me and give me an answer?
