[EnergyPlus_Support] Error in Electrical Chiller Simulation
Dear All:
I use the electrical chiller and fancoil example file to obtain
the annual performance of the chiller. The building environment, zone
set point temperature and all the schedules are not changed.
In the chiller file, there is a controller for controlling the
air loop temperature. But I use the fancoil unit, the controller set
up is canceled.
When I look into the results of the chiller performance, I find
that the inlet temperature of evaporator has a maximum value up to
about 24 C, and the outlet temperature remains 7 C. So there is a
big temperature difference in the evaporator. And I think it is not
the actual operating conditions for a chiller.
I want to decrease the inlet temperature by controlling the
chiller water mass flow rate. Is it feasible? What kind of component
can do the job? How to set up it ?
And I am wondering whether I can set up some objects in order
to let the outlet temperaure float between a range instead of
remaining constantly. Is it doable?
Thank you in advance.
