I compared the values of the SHGC and the g-value of standard glazing
from a TRNSYS library, but there was no real factor (for manfacturer
data I got g=(1,10 to 1,17)* SHGC) to convert from one to the other.
This would have been the most easiest way :-)

I would think this sort of conversion should suffice for architects.  In North America, we end up doing this sort of thing to convert between the older Shading Coefficient and SHGC.
