Information on getting IFCs to IDFs is available here:

I use Bentley's Microstation Triforma and have an extension program
that exports ifc files. Does anyone have experience in using this to
develop idf files from cadd? A procedure would be helpful or just an
idea of what to define. I haven't found any literature on the subject
and Bentley hasn't been much help either.
