[EnergyPlus_Support] About the economics: qualify
Dear all
I see the I/O reference on the specification of the economics: qualify;
I have a question about one object of the model.
There are some sentences about the Qualify Variable Name
"The name used for the Economics:Qualify and displayed if the tariff does not qualify.
It is also treated as a variable and contains:
? 1 for each month that does qualify,
? 0 for months that do not qualify, and
? -1 for months that are not part of the season selected."
I can not understand the way E+ treat the parameter as a variable.
I see the example file in E+. It just uses a name for input other than a variable. And the
output of the example file never shows a number.
Please help me get some idea of this item.
Thank you in advance.
