Dear All,

I am curious about what the assumption are in EnergyPlus with regard to
windowglass inputs and what assumptions one can make. For instance, I see that
one can specify solar diffusing; if I have a shading device where I have the
spectral data, can I input it as a solar diffusing piece of glass or will the
algorithms for angular dependance and associated convective heat transfer
coefficient cause a larger discrepancy then simply specifying it as a shading
device. I plan to do a little parametric study, but if anyone has dealt with
this problem, I would be happy to learn of your conclusions.

Peter
