Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] IFC to IDF



Hi Mike,
 
The building I drawed did have such basic elements. However , it does not work. I have no idea. 
I will try some different ways again. 
Maybe IFC is not popular in energy analysis group.

I do not use CAD tools, so I cannot speak for sure, but my understanding is 
that you must have Building, Space, and Surface (Wall, Window, Door, Floor, 
Roof) objects.  Does that help?
