As important as it is for walls, generally.

Yes, these are valid and the same as for walls, etc.

If you choose "relative" coordinates in your Surface Geometry object, 
yes.  Then, the attached entries are relative to the zone origin 
coordinates.  But always, the vertex entries are "3D".
