Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] severe errors about missing values

Rather than directly modifying EPWs, we recommend
that you first make a CSV of the EPW using
the weather converter. Then modify the file
and convert back to EPW using the weather
converter. The weather converter will fill missing
values (better to leave blank) and warn you of
anomalous values.

In either case, run your now-modified file through
the weather converter and see what warnings or
errors you get.

Dear Users,

I modified EPW weather file (PALERMO - PUNTARAISI).In this file I
replaced Dry Bulb Temperature,Relative Humidity,Wind Speed,Direct
Normal Radiation and Diffuse Horizontal Radiation with real data for
only fifteen days of March(March,2005). I put missing values for
remainig fields.

In this way I obtain severe errors about some fields of weather file
because missing values are out of values range.

Why it happens? Can these errors to compromise the course of the
temperature of the inner air of the thermal zones (like an anomalous
peak of air temperature at 18:00 pm)?

Best Regards,

Marino Davide.
