[EnergyPlus_Support] Global horizontal solar radiation

Hello,
I understand this is more an eQuest (DOE2 engine) question, but just in case you know.
I'm using an EnergyPlus weather file to generate an Equest weather file (using eQ_WthProc ). Since The epw I'm using do not have Global horizontal solar radiation, I guess E+ uses only direct normal and diffuse horizontal ?, the epw file have 9999 value for all Global horizontal solar values. The .bin file I get have 9999 as Global horizontal, does eQuest ( DOE2 engine) uses that values in its calculation ?
Thanks a lot for reading this.
Andrea.
