Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] query

For the input deck in question (PurchAirTables.idf), the Run Control
object is set to run the winter and summer design days, followed by an
annual simulation (Jan 1 through Dec 31).

For design day simulations, the weather information provided in the
DesignDay object(s) will always be used .... independent of the weather
file being passed to the simulation (in.epw). See the "DesignDay"
object in the IO Reference for further discussion.

In contrast the "weather file simulation" (annual simulation in this
case), which is run after the two design days in this particular
instance, will use the information in the weather file (in.epw).
