[EnergyPlus_Support] envelope light and heavy wall - Energy+ vs Doe 2.1
Gents,
I have been simulating with Energy+ some test houses for my PhD thesis.
Those were already simulated from a professor with Doe 2.1. (old style
professor)
It sems like Energy+ give approximately similar energy consumption results
about cases with heavy wall, that not happen for light wall where Doe 2.1
has higher energy consumption. I found a document with a test case that
basically said that.
My question is: may we say that Energy+ is more accurate in this
calculation? Is there any document I can use to support this affermation?
That is a crucial question for my thesis.
Thanks in advance!
