Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] radiant cooling with cooling sources

Thank you very much, Mike.

I have reconfigue the model according to the Freecoolingchiller.idf. The chiller and free cooler are linked to cooling coils and radiant cooling model.
  But I experience some problems:
  1. there appears lots of warnings: Warning ** SimHVAC: Exceeding Maximum iterations for all HVAC loops
  2. When I use the calgary weather file, I found that the radiant system does not work in winter. However, when I use the weather file of Toronto, the systems works and indoor temperature in the interior zones were cooled down.
  3. I use chiller:electic, but i dont know how to define some parameters,
forexample: Temp Design Evaporator Outlet {C}, Temp Lower Limit Evaporator Outlet {C}. I cannot find detail explanation of how to define these temperature.

Could you tell me how to solve these problems. If necessary, I can send you my idf file.

  Thank you very much.

  Regards,

  Zhen

See ExampleFiles\FreeCoolingChiller.idf This is an example of using a heat
exchanger (connected to the condenser loop) for free cooling in series with a
chiller.
