Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Chiller Simulation

Ronald,
I was looking into your input file and noticed that you are reporting
the meter "Electricity:HVAC". Electricity:HVAC is a meter for
components in air loop. Once you run EnergyPlus, it will create an
.mtd file which will list how each meter is calculated i.e.
components of each meter. In order to get the electricity in plant
add a report variable like:

Report Meter,
     Electricity:Plant , !- Meter_Name
     hourly; !- Reporting_Frequency

This report however will include all the components in plant loop
like pumps, chillers etc. You can also get the consumption of each
component separately using a Custom Meter option. If you are not able
to set up Custom Meter I would be more than happy to help you.

Thanks
Sankar
