RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Just one more question

I have a question related with this topic. Does e+ calculates the correction
factor for  the different atmospheres air mass from latitude and date from
the desing day? Or do we have to introduce this factor in the clearness
parameter?

The location information, latitude, longitude, time zone, elevation 
is used to calculate the solar position with or without a weather 
file. When you have a weather file, it uses the location information 
on the weather file; otherwise, it needs the location information 
from the location object.

It can calculate the sun position angles for any day of the year for 
any location, not just USA.
