[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Window AC or Unitary

Hi,

i am experimenting on BS1, a 7mx7mx3m room with a 7.04KW National
Air conditioner. i have split the experiment into two stages: 1, to
validate the heat transfer across the building envelop and 2, to
find the coefficients for the quads and biquads for the wet-bulb,
dry bulb and flow fraction and performance curves for PLFPLR.

For 1, i have 11 thermocouples giving hourly recordings on the heat
transfer surfaces and subsurfaces. But i cannot find the .rdd file
or the output variables that showed in a drop down menu when you
click on the report variable field in the idf editor. i am looking
for the 11 temperature variables that correspond to those measured.
Can i know what has gone wrong? Is it because i have both ver 2 and
1.4 on my laptop?

For 2, the autosizable SHR and Rated Air Flow fields/cells were pink
in colour. After simulation, the Rated Air Flow is out of range.
Does it mean that the National air cond is too small? The room is
fitted with two units and i can run both if necessary.

Much obliged,
ooi
