[EnergyPlus_Support] Conflicting output reports
Hi all,
I am having a hard time reconciling the values of the following
variables as listed in the .EIO output file and the .CSV files.
1) Zone Peak Temperature and Specific Humidity
In the "Zone Sizing" section of the .EIO file, listed peak zone
temperature and specific humidity values are as high as the outdoor
Summer design conditions. On the other hand, the peak Zone
temperature and specific humidity values from Report Variable
reflect the fact that that there is temperature control in the
model, and are much lower than the values listed in the .EIO output.
Hopefully, Peak temperature/humidity in .EIO and Report Variable
don't have the same meaning! If so, can you please explain the
significance/meaning of the variables in the two reports?
2) AHU-1 Rated Total Cooling Capacity (gross) [W]
In the "Component Sizing" section of the .EIO file, the value
corresponding to this variable is listed at 8.816 kW. The peak total
cooling capacity from Report Variable is about 10.6 kW. Again, why
the difference? Which report is accurate if the variables have the
same meaning in both reports?
I have uploaded the input file "p599adm-exp-4-23.IDF" into the
\problem_submittals\ folder.
Thank you for your support.
