[EnergyPlus_Support] Plant and System changes during macro runs

Hi all,
    I am running some simulations of school building that has an 
electric resistance heating system, which I am retrofitting to have a 
water-based heating system.  I am interested in using the EPlus macro 
capability to  make this substitution (and other plant or system 
changes).  I have utilized the macro capability for several simple 
retrofits like insulation thickness and ventilation flow rates, but I 
am not seeing an immediately available way of changing out the boiler 
for district heating or installing a heat pump without performing 
manual input changes. Is there a way to do install these retrofits 
using the Eplus macro capabilities?  Do you have any other suggestion 
on how I could make these changes without manually chaning the input 
files?
