RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] How to simulate linear thermal bridges - EPlus vs Design Builder

On my understanding E+ doesn't introduce thermal bridges the only way to introduce it is using opaque sub surfaces.

Asunto: [EnergyPlus_Support] How to simulate linear thermal bridges - EPlus vs Design Builder

Hello

Using Design Builder and/or EnergyPlus v1.4 :

By Zone, what is the best way to simulate the total value of losses due to the linear thermal bridges (eg.: due to windows, wall/roof interface, etc)?

Or

I don´t need to insert the value, because the software already calculates these losses using the Building Geometry?

Which one of the above questions is correct?

Regards

A L
