  E+ doesn?t calculate thermal bridges. The only possibility is to calculate thermal bridges heat losses by hand or by another program, calculate the U-value equivalent and add this U-value to the transparent elements and be careful about the solar transmittance for those elements as the heat flow absorbed by window and emitted by convection is proportional to U-window

 Using Design Builder and/or EnergyPlus v1.4 :
 
 By Zone, what is the best way to simulate the total value of losses due to the linear thermal bridges (eg.: due to windows, wall/roof interface, etc)?
 
 Or
 
 I don´t need to insert the value, because the software already calculates these losses using the Building Geometry?
 
 Which one of the above questions is correct?
