RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Water Use Equipment as mister simulation

Hi Brent

I did consider that, but when I change the latent to sensible gains I do get
a temperature drop.

If you are conditioning the zone, eg. with Purchased Air, then the zone
air drybulb temps are going to stay the same (because they are being
controlled). Check the change in purchased air power.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Water Use Equipment as mister simulation

hi All
Well I have created the mister cooling simulation using the
recommendation that I got with the Water Use Equipment. I have got
everything working, and been able to observe the "latent heat rate to
zone" variable and "zone relative humidity" behave fairly well. What I
haven't been able to do is actually change the mean air temperature of
the zone which is what I am trying to do.

If I change the flow rate of the water use equipment from 0 to a high
number that pushes the rel humidity through the roof it doesn't change
the mean air temperature.

If anyone could tell me what I am doing wrong it would be great!
cheers
Danny
