It probably has to do with high internal gains providing most of the
heat.  It might match your expectations better if the Equipment schedule
was turning off all the equipment for the WinterDesignDay.  A big office
building can have pretty small heating loads.

All,

I used the Example File Generator on the Eplus website to model a
single story, 165 x 85 Ft building with 15 ft walls. The files that
came back indicated correct surface areas with R13 walls and R15 roof.
The infiltration rate was .5 air changes per hour. The model auto
sized the heating equipment at only 11,900 Btuh with cooling at 17
Tons. This doesn't fit what you would expect. Infiltration alone
should be 100,000 Btuh. I have looked for potential errors that would
explain the small sizing but I honestly can't see it. Weather station
is right. What could I be missing?
