Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Re: water heater issue



I thought you said the heat pump was connected to the water heater 
through it's source side nodes? The water heater has source side nodes 
and the water-to-water HP has source side nodes, which are you referring 
to? Why are you connecting a water-to-water HP to a water heater? You 
won't get much (if any) cooling on the load side of the HP, but will 
probably get a great deal of heating if the model can handle your 
connection scheme with such high temperatures. Does the HP operate? Is 
there mass flow on the source and load side of the HP? If yes, where is 
this water going if your water heater has 0 flow?
