RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Weather data for ecotect

Any chance you could post the two files up here and let me know so I can
download them? Which area is it for?

EnergyPlus uses 1-24 -- i.e., hour 1 is 12:01 to 01:00.

(More on this in the documentation of the weather data format in the
Auxiliary Programs reference guide.)

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Weather data for ecotect

Hello,

I am using Ecotect to do solar simulations. I have been wanting to import
epw weather data files, but it is unclear to me weather I should use the
1-24 or the 0-23 option. Obviously, whatever I choose will highly affect my
results, as all the data will be either right or one hour late or early...
I have read posts on ecotect's forum about that, and some said it was better
to use the 0-23, even though the default is set to 1-24 and Andrew Marsh
seems to think this is the best way to go...
I have to say I am a bit confused. I am tempted to think that the 1-24
option is indeed the right one, and this is the one I use, but as I often
get higher radiations on the eastern façades, I am wandering if maybe that
is because all my values are translated to the East!
What to do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
