[EnergyPlus_Support] Water Mains Temperatures

Could someone elaborate on these two variables for the correlation
calculation. I believe the  avg outdoor air temperature is fairly
straight forward, however I am unclear what the max difference refers
too. Max difference in the month? the year? does the .stat or .ddy
explicitly call out these variables? Thanks.

? average annual outdoor air temperature (dry-bulb)
? maximum difference in monthly average outdoor air temperatures
