[EnergyPlus_Support] Low Illuminance values for Multiple blinds simulation.
Hi
I am involved in the simulation of multiple Window blinds. I am having
a 6'X6' window on an 10' X 11' wall. The blinds are divided into
three sections : Top, Middle , and Bottom sections.
The three blinds are assigned to three windows that are created by
dividing the 6 X 6 window into three Parts, each of dimensions 6 X 2 ft.
The simulation involves simulation of three sets of blinds together,
each set at different slat angles. The main aim of the research is the
comparison of the working of these three sets of blinds together with
the working of an conventional blind system. I am getting very low
values of illuminance (Around 2-4 lux) at the two reference points
assigned.
Previously I have simulated normal blinds with different slat angles
and I was able to get Proper illuminance values at the two reference
points, but there seems to be a problem with the multiple blinds.
I am attaching the IDf file named attachments_ 2008_06_19.
Thank you
