You've figured out probably the only way to do this. When I think about 
adding this
capability, it isn't clear to me what users expect it to do. Heating and 
cooling functions
aren't always nicely separable. In your case, what kind of system are 
you working with
and what component sizes would you expect to be altered by a heating 
sizing factor?
