[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: airflow between-core perimeter zones
Dear Alper,
In my opinion, a very large hangar (i.e., multiple A320s) will
probably exhibit distinct zone characteristics, but small to mid-size
hangars will not. In addition, the HVAC system will probably be
designed to favor comfort in the occupied area, which is often the
floor only; no one works near the walls or ceiling.
Finally, hangar door opening will completely destroy comfort and
setpoint control while open, making "zones" meaningless.
For these reasons, I recommend that you consider using a single zone
instead of multiple zones.
