You can use pairs of Mixing objects as
well as Cross Mixing. There doesn’t need to be a hole, the air
exchanges from these objects happen in software and don’t need a physical
pathway defined. Be careful that the flows are balanced. One way to
estimate flow rates is to assume an air change per hour (ACH) rate for perimeter
zone’s mixing with the core. Then calculate flow rates that provide
the ACH. Single-sided natural ventilation can usually get 5 ACH but higher
rates are possible at it depends on many factors that aren’t usually well
known.
