Just a friendly reminder that a one-day Introduction to DesignBuilder course
will be held on Saturday- August 2nd at , the University of
California - Berkeley, immediately after the IBPSA-USA SimBuild 2008 conference.
The objective of this workshop is to introduce DesignBuilder to the users and simulators
who would like to use EnergyPlus simulation tool to model energy performance of
buildings, but without the complexities of working with arcane input file
editor. DesignBuilder is the most comprehensive and powerful graphical user
interface for EnergyPlus. This hands-on training will provide general overview
and introduction to building energy analysis using DesignBuilder. The trainees
will learn to quickly setup a building model, change the building parameters
using components and templates and run the simulation.
A fully
functional 3 months trial version of DesignBuilder will be distributed to all trainees
at the training venue.
