[EnergyPlus_Support] Averaging thermostat?

Just a quick question, and it may be totally dumb, there does not
appear to be an Set Point Manager:Averaging.

It may be possible to command setpoint from a node downstream of a
ZONE:MIXER object in the return air stream, however this will not get
me the average zone temperature.

When I have multiple zones connected to a single system I can use
either Set Point Manager:Warmest or Set Point Manager:SingleZone
Cooling allowing me to control from the warmest zone or the one I
specify but not allowing an average to be taken into account.

Is there some trickery than can be done with a Set Point Manager:Mixed
Air where it gets a little abused by pretending two zones are a fan or
something similar to get an average in the current time step?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Regards,

Mark Carey
