Hello, first sorry for my bad english, I'm trying to improve my knowledge of this language.
I'm Giovanni Matarrese from Italy
I'm new of the group, I've just joined it.
I'm a student of mechanical engeneering and I'm working about a microcogeneneration plant for my thesis work.
I began editing an existing model built in energy plus 2.1 where the microchp and the auxiliary boiler where modelled by two purchased hot water(one for each device) because the micro chp model still did not work well when this model was created by the students who worked on in the past.
So I first sobstituted these purchased with a Boiler:simple device for the boiler and with the MicroCHP modul for the ICE cogenerator and I inserted the device parameters too in the 2.2 version of energyplus.
I also put the micro chp device on the
supply of the engine loop and the water tank heater on the demand side of the engine loop, while the heating loop remained the same of the old model excpet of the sobstitution of boiler to the purchased hot water.
this model works quite well, except the first 10 days of the simulation, where temperatures calculated by the software are a little higher than they should be.
The real problem is that when I try to export this model on the new version of energyplus(the 3.0) results of the temperatures are always very higher than they sholud be(they're about 50 celsius degrees while they should be about 20).
Do you now the reason of this problem? can you help me?
thank you very much for your attention and your kindness.
