Hi everyone,
I am a relatively new E+ user, i have inherited an E+ model of a historic building, for which i am trying to put together a weather file using 'real' data, i have temperature and realtive humidty measured from the site, so these are not a problem.
I have been told that wind and solar information are also important, i would like to know how E+ uses these variables in the model...? I have found some wind/solar data for local weather stations, but there are problems, like the solar data was only recorded until the start of 2007, and the diffuse horizontal radiation has been recorded at zero for the whole year, and i cannot seem to find out if this is a real measurement, or that it has not been measured.
The only E+ output i am interested in is the indoor T and RH if this makes a difference. Also are there any other important variables i need to consider to include in a weather file?
Thank you for any help
