suggest you take out any @echo off or comment it at the top of
the runeplus batch file and see what is really executing.

by the fact that the same IDF file ran just fine in EP-Launch. Is there

like it failed in the input processor (Fatal: " IP "). This
would be before
the error file is created. See if there is an audit file
(eplusout.audit)
that you can look at. I am not sure if you will find
the error at the end of
this file, or somewhere in the middle.
