[EnergyPlus_Support] Zone Infiltration - Design Flow Rate

Does specifying a ZoneInfiltration:DesignFlowRate override an AirflowNetwork:Multizone:Surface:Crack?

I ran a simulation with an infiltration design flow rate for each zone. I then added a "crack" around the windows to simulate poorly sealed windows. I made sure to define the reference conditions for the crack and specified which surfaces (all windows) would have the "crack". But the simulations results were unchanged. My first thought is that the design flow rate overrides the "crack". I have been reading through the documentation, but I have not been able to find the answer as to why this occurred.

Would it be appropriate to just increase the design flow rate for the zone to include the additional infiltration?

Thanks.
