I want to echo that sentiment—it seems to me there's little
reason to chase the latest and greatest version, or even any particular
version, of Adobe Reader. In fact, why does the poll assume everyone uses
Adobe? There are lots of other PDF viewers out there. Most Linux
distributions, for example, default to Evince, KPDF, or Xpdf; they require
additional work to install Adobe's viewer. The best approach is to put
out a defined, standard format. --Todd -- Why don't theater and heater rhyme? From: EnergyPlus_Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Either limit you to Acrobat 5 reader according to the Word/PDFMaker from
Acrobat.
You should
generate documents in PDF/X, the ISO standard archival PDF format that is
specifically designed for archival documentation. It can be read by
nearly every reader, new or old. __._,_.___ The primary EnergyPlus web site is found at: http://www.energyplus.gov The group web site is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EnergyPlus_Support/ Attachments are not allowed -- please post any files to the appropriate folder in the Files area of the Support Web Site.
