[EnergyPlus_Support] theory behind Sizing HVAC

Dear all,

 

I'm building models in Design Builder and exporting them to energy plus. Each time I export the model It autosizing cooling loads and autosizing heating loads. The output I get from energy plus is the cooling loads in watts (HVAC power).

Please excuse me for my dump questions and please help me. Can you please tell me why each time the HVAC is sized?How can I get the energy consumption as an output from energy plus not the HVAC power?
