You are right, that does not make sense. The first step would be to check the coeffecients of the heatpump model and make sure the model rated capacity is comparable to the building peak load.

Hi all, simulation results of EnergyPlus's GSHP system such as borehole wall temperatures and borehole outlet fluid temperatures seem problematic because the temperatures mentioned above may have a abrupt changing by more than 20 degrees(even more)just within an hour. In my opinion, the real physical preocesses will always bear a smoth trend while the inlet water temperature has a smoth curve. So have you guys come across such problems?
