Curly question.
Modelling multiple floors of fan coil units (attempting to get loads for a VRV model), with fan coils on the floor plate and a primary AHU on roof providing tempering of outdoor air.
Can Eplus model multiple nested system loops, e.g
Level 1: Zone loop (zonal loads)
Level 2: Fan coil loop (local heat cool and OA to zone)
Level 3: Ahu loop (supplying OA to mixing box of fan coil units)
Something like HeatPumpVRP_DCV.idf where the supply splitter (HeatPumpSupplyPath) is conneected to the outdoor air inlet node of a mixing box on the fan coil unit.
Any clever suggestions or can I only simulate the fan coils or the central air system but not both?
Regards,
Mark Carey
