Hi,
I'm having a bit of trouble understanding why the VAV system I have implemented is cooling during winter. I would expect the building to be in full heating, and the zone temperatures stay around 21 degrees (the heating setpoint). Despite this, there still seems to be a call for cooling.
I can turn the cooling off by setting the control schedule for that coil, but I would prefer not to do that in general. I have run a simulation with the coils scheduled off, and the zones were not overheating.
Can anyone suggest what might be causing the chiller/cooling system to come on when not required?
