Have you looked at the example files?  ExampleFiles.xls
contains highlights of the contents of these files.

The tutorials didn't contain a room without heat loss either -- which you
saw from the answers was not a "simple example".

You could also use the Example file Generator application to perhaps
produce something closer to what you are looking for.
