Dear EnergyPlus Group,
I am having problems with "slat angle control for blinds" option. I am using PurchAirWindowBlind.idf file from EnergyPlus 4.0 example files. I have slightly modified this file to run an annual simulation instead of a design day. There is a blind and a suitable control is defined in the file.
The problem is whenever I adjust the Type of slat angle control for blinds to BlockBeamSolar, the program crashes instanly, but it works fine if is set to FixedSlatAngle. Another observation, I have tried simulating the same example file from EnegyPlus 2.2 examples in Energyplus2.2 with BlockBeamSolar defined and it worked fine.
I was wondering if anyone has experienced a similar problem with slat angle control before. Is there a change on slat angle control definition in version 4.0? Since there is no error file is created I cannot understand where the error comes from.
