[EnergyPlus_Support] output variable: average window luminance from ref. point.

Hello:

Dose anyone know the calculation method of the output variable: average window luminance from ref. point?   I have read the engineering ref. There are clear steps of calculating illuminance and daylight factor for the reference point. But it does not clearly mention how to calculate average window luminance.

(1) In page 152 in eng. ref, (193 for PDF page), it provdes a formula for window luminance calculation S(win), but it does not mention how to calculate W(sun).

(2) In page 148 in eng.ref (187 for pdf page), there is a formula, by dividing window area into many small element area. Lw is the average of all element luminance of window. But how do we calculate the single element luminance of window?

Thank you.
