Hi, HuJia I have been following those mails. What Mr. Ooi wanted to do was to generate a special local weather file which matches the days when he conducted temperature and other measurements on his test building. He mdified the ODT of the IWEC weather file, with his measured ODT, the matching of the simulated temperatures in the room and the measured values are quite good, when the sun is not shining through the windows. We will try using the formulae in the weather converter and see what happens. I am also curious about how to get Direct Normal and Diffuse from Global and other variables. In EPlus, Direct Normal and Diffuse are used as input to calculate some other variable, including Direct and Diffuse illuminance from sun and sky, sky brightness and clearness.
There are some experts in this field, as you can find from the email (subject:"weather file") I sent to this group on Jan 20.
Thanks,
