[EnergyPlus_Support] Green roof modelling

Dear all,

I have some questions with regard to the green roof model of Energyplus and the limitations of the model.
I did not read carefully the related section at the engineering manual but I am concerned with the following paragraph from that document:
"The ability to track moisture-dependent thermal properties is not implemented yet due to stability issues in the CTF scheme, but is under development for use with the finite difference solution scheme made available in EnergyPlus starting in version 2."
Has there been any progress with this? I see that inputs for the conductivity, density and specific heat of the soil is only required for the dry soil. Am I correct to say that the values of these thermal properties remain constant and they are independent of the water content of the soil during a green roof simulation?

Thanks,
Georgios
